The Test Has Begun!
The Test Has Begun!

Hey there, Toons!

Let me introduce myself - I'm Disyer, Dessert Storm's lead developer.. For a few weeks now, after watching Jesse Schell's talks and suggestions to the community, I have been working on bringing the game to Android. At first I thought it was impossible, but I never gave up. I was overcome with happiness when the game first booted on my phone. There were issues.. but most of them are now finally resolved. That's why I think that finally I can let all of you try this out.

That's right - the game is now available on mobile devices - be it phones, tablets, or even Android TVs!

To be honest, I'm really excited about this. It could make Toontown accessible to more people. Now you can play Toontown in school, or on the bus, practically anywhere where you have internet access. In my opinion, it's a huge, bold step - it could potentially be very rewarding. I really hope it pays off!

For the first time ever, Toontown makes it's appearence on the small screen.

For now, you will have to apply to be an Android Beta Tester. I am also considering putting the game on the Play Store, so Toontown could be accessed more conveniently, not only if you search for it - but I need YOUR help to decide. It is certainly too big a decision to decide on my own.

That's why when you apply to be a beta tester, you'll be asked to fill out a quick questionnaire. Do you want Toontown to be on the Play Store? How have you come to that decision?

With your insight, we will be able to decide this for ourselves.

100 Android beta testers slots are available now, at the Android Test page! Click here!

Have a Toontastic day, and enjoy!

I'm on Android and having trouble with the buttons. They don't seem of be responding too well. Also can you optimize the Android app more? Thanks. PS. I sometimes spawn out of bounds when I go to one of my friends. Can you fix that?

I'm playing O.D.S, I'm loving it's a challenging game, but I'd like to put some points that I checked out in this period that I'm playing. First the amount of beans we have is little for the amount of jokes we have to use and the difficulty of getting beans is too great, slowing our evolution in the game. The points assigned to our gags even in the invasion are low, I noticed because games every day and the evolution of gags is very slow. A challenging game like this should offer means to become playable. Another point is fishing, which in fishing the existence of two clicks is also something that would improve with just one click. If we use too many beans to repair the fishing rod is also another point to think about. Thanks, Gordim

I think ODS has a lot of potential, but this is one thing that sounds a bit iffy. One thing I want to point out is this: If this DOES go well and Disney notices it, it could be a big problem. If Disney had interest in Toontown again, it could be great, but on the other hand, it could be disastrous. If Disney thinks the game would go better as a mobile game, that would mean taking down all the private servers. Though having it on mobile AND computer sounds great, having it only on mobile sounds like a complete disaster, the game would have a different feel, most likely simplified, less videos made on the matter, and I LOVE Disney, but they would most likely make it so that almost everything has a price tag (CPisland)Perhaps Schell Games would take it over, but I still think I would rather have free, computer-only private servers than a phone-restricted game. All I have to say is be careful, Disney is the sleeping bear we do not want to wake.

Hello Dev team this is Lemonglow from toontown and I would like to say thank you for creating this, I've actually been working on a toontown mobile project and this came out. I may still be working on it. I only have one Negative comment about the game, it's really, really laggy. Can you please fix this? Thank you. And thanks for making this dream of mine a reality.
