Please note that these responses have been edited to become presentable. The original responses are available here.

  • Disney doesn't care. I don't care. Put it wherever you want.
  • More people from outside the game could discover it, even though I am not sure if it's legal to publish content that originally belonged to Disney.
  • It would provide more availability, however, it may need some work, as battery usage is questionable.
  • If optimized correctly, it would allow for people to enjoy more and more time on ODS.

  • Yes, it should be on the Play Store - Are you Toon enough?
  • If someone's computer broke, it would still be on the Play Store.
  • Everyone with an Android device who had a Toontown account as a kid can live it up again! Toontown would also get many more players if ODS is released on the Play Store!

  • I do not play Toontown, so I don't really care.
  • Having Toontown on the Play Store could finally bring attention to this game from the mobile side, like what Disney has been trying to do for a while. If they saw what was being done, they would feel inspired to bring Toontown back or make a new game related to Toontown.
  • It could get more people to notice Toontown, and make the community grow!
  • It brings something new to the table that other Toontown servers cannot rival. It has a really interesting concept, and I would like to be able to try this out. ODS has brought something game changing and new to Toontown servers.

  • I am a owner and a developer of 2 different servers, and I am ready to play!
  • Toontown is a game that would work very well portable.
  • Having Toontown on another platform will bring in a larger playerbase and may show to Disney that there still is interest in Toontown, which could make them decide to work on a sequel to the original game.
  • It will bring more players that wanted it on mobile since TTO.
  • It would be cool to play Toontown on the go.
  • It's a neat thing to have a Toontown server on mobile and available to the public. I think it's something definitely worth trying. My laptop is getting old and handles games frustratingly terribly so I don't use it much anymore. ODS on mobile is therefore convenient to me, and I'm sure it will be convenient to others as well.
  • Personally, I think that Toontown on mobile would be a good idea. Sometimes people don't have PCs and all they have is their phone. So this being on mobile could be good.
  • I am a very good tester, I report bugs and all that fun stuff.
  • I love to play Toontown Operation Dessert Storm!
  • It'd be more accessible for people without computers, and those who happen to have Android devices and are on the go!

  • I've been waiting to see Toontown on mobile for years! I would be so happy to be able to show Toontown to my friends on the bus in the afternoon! Plus, it looks really good!

  • I can crash in the CEO outside of my own home.
  • If someone is at a place and they don't have a computer or laptop around to use, they still have an Android device to play ODS on. This is what I call Toon Enough! Toons of the World UNITE!
  • I believe it would be a great game to release on the Play Store, as it will result in a bigger population on the server, aswell as getting users to know that Toontown is back, as well as new players who may have not played before.
  • Everybody who doesn't have a computer can now play on Android, it will be so cool!
  • I know some of my friends don't have a computer, but would love to play Toontown, and it would be great if there was a way they could!

  • People who don't have computers but have phones can now access Toontown - maybe they saw a friend play it and got hooked on it and now want to play it, but they don't have computers, only phones - so they can just download the game and have the same equal gameplay as people on desktops/laptops!
  • It opens up the possibility to those who don't have computers or laptops.
  • Toontown is a game you play when you are at home with nothing to do, but on the Play Store, it would be accessible anywhere.
  • It helps expand Toontown to newer generations!
  • What if players wanted to play on Android instead of PC. It would be really cool - P.S. I'm gonna play it on mobile when it's released. Have a good day, Operation Dessert Storm team :)
  • Toontown is such a fantastic game, and I believe it would be an amazing Android app.
  • More people like me could enjoy Toontown again. And this is as good as the computer game. Wow, you've got a great game.
  • There is no Toontown on mobile - this will be the next generation of Toontown, and it will also get you more players.
  • It would make it easy to do tasks on the go, especially on tablets. If you don't have a laptop but you're going out of town to a hotel, you could still play Toontown on your mobile device!
  • I believe that Toontown has such a dedicated and close-knit community that bringing it to the Google Play Store would be an amazing way to bring new people into the community, and allow seasoned players to also play on the go.
  • It would be easier to access. It could also bring it closer to an iOS app.
  • You could play ANYWHERE if you have data! Because, with TTR, you can ONLY play on PC!
  • Maybe someone will stumble onto it and become a new player.

  • People would get to play it.
  • Though fairly risky, putting it on the Play Store has the potential of reviving the game and/or bringing new people into the Toontown community.
  • It could bring the game to many new people, who very well might enjoy it, also it could maybe spark a new fire into people who had long since forgotten or stopped playing the game.
  • It's fun and it would be good to experiment with the capabilities and design with the Android GUI, etc.
  • Steam Greenlight worked well for Altis.
  • I've played the traditional PC version before, and it's great. I think adding a more mobile version of it could enable the option of being able to bring the fun along with you wherever you go and at the same time aswell, giving a fresh start and almost "new " sort of way to play the game. I think it could really be a neat version of the game.
  • It would bring in new players, and it would be really cool to see.
  • This is a great game and if it were available in the Play Store, it would be a popular download!
  • I want to have it for iOS too :C
  • I feel like bringing a Toontown game to mobile is a really cool and creative idea. Having the old Toontown memories and the new ones which this game offers on the move really feels like a new step for the ODS community and maybe for the others as a whole.
  • The game is small enough but can be very enjoyable and immersive. Many would play it.
  • It would be the first private server on the Play Store and I think it would be fun for everyone to enjoy.
  • A few reasons: 1. I can show my friends the game and get them to try them out. 2. It will bring a lot of toons into the game, so the game is more funner. 3. It will show Disney that Toontown can still live on and have a good lifecycle. 4. I can play Toontown on the go and get some extra ToonTasks done. I hope that this will change ODS for the better.
  • I would like to see how the game would be on mobile!
  • Having Toontown on the Play Store is a great idea as it can bring more people to the game.
  • It will allow the game to be accessed from a very portable device which can be used in places where laptops are not convenient. Android users could perform small tasks such as golfing/fishing/gardening whenever you're away from a computer; the convenience level would be very high.
  • It gives the audience multiple platforms to play the game in, attracting more players who prefer playing games on mobile.
  • It would advertise Toontown to a wider audience!
  • It would be more convenient to access the great game Toontown! I hope it will be in the Play Store for free to prevent getting sued by Disney... However, the phones are too tiny to play on, but we can still play on iPads, Android TVs, etc... I don't say that Toontown in the Play Store is a bad idea, I say that putting it on a lot of stores would probably be better!
  • Now people can play during school or on the go, bringing more people to the game.
  • I would love for it to be on the Google Play Store, but that would never happen as Disney would sue you through the floor and shut down your project.
  • I believe more people will finally have access to Toontown, as lots of players seem to have moved onto mobile devices. I also think it'd be a cool idea to be able to play Toontown on my phone! :D
  • Operation Dessert Storm is awesome and I would love to play it on the go.
  • Cause Toontown on devices would be great. If you don't have a computer and you're a big Toontown fan, you can still play on your phone - a lot of people have a phone. Plus, Operation Dessert Storm is a unique server - the Prologue is amazing, they have new Toons and a new Cog Hq. I love how Toontown servers like you try new things, and putting it on phones and tablets would be amazing. This is why Toontown should be on devices.
  • It's good to find new things.
  • It would allow more players to experience Toontown.
  • It would give everyone the chance to play the childhood game everyone loves on the go.
  • I LOVE TOONTOWN AND MANY OTHERS HAVE A PAST WITH TOONTOWN. Everyone who played Toontown as a kid needs to know this exists - GREAT IDEA.

  • Toontown Operation Dessert Storm would be a great candidate for the entire Toontown community.
  • Toontown is a great game to play at home, and would be an amazing thing to play on the go. I am hyped for this!
  • I think it would be a great way for users to easily be able to access and download the game without having to be worried about suspicious websites and fake apk viruses.
  • This will allow ODS to gain some recognition that "Hey check it out we have an app for Toontown so you won't be bored during school!". It would be great for those who want to do something while waiting or are on a plane ride.
  • The game I've always admired was Toontown growing up and was upset when it shut down, when Rewritten came out, I was pumped, now to know I can play it on the go is extremely exciting.
  • I think this would be a big step for Toontown history. So many people have wanted the game to be put on mobile for years, and you guys doing this would make their dreams come true.
  • It would make the game more available and playable for people using both devices!
  • It'd give the game a genuine platform to pseudo-advertise on, without generating revenue and potentially poking the bear. I'd leave a 5 star rating!
  • Everyone who played Toontown as a kid needs to easily download this and play it on the go!
  • It looks so cool to have that there.
  • This game has good music remembering the old Toontown!
  • It would bring more good attention to your game.
  • We could play TT on the go!
  • We can play Toontown anywhere! It's super!
  • I'd be able to spend more time on Toontown without a computer.
  • It would bring more people over to the Toontown community as a whole, also we would get more testers for the mobile port.
  • Toontown can reach out to a bigger audience and gain more players!
  • Hey, why not - more people would know of ODS now!
  • This seems to be pretty good, and from what I've been told by a friend, it has native support for Android. I haven't heard of any other Toontown servers having native support for Android, though I could be wrong, but even so, this is looking to be pretty interesting.
  • Some people don't have a computer, so I think having ODS on Android is a GREAT idea!
  • Toontown is a fun game, and it is better when you play with friends. Having it on the go would greatly facilitate that. Also, I am addicted to Toontown, so it would be great to have another avenue to play it.
  • It'd be easier to find it in the Google Play Store, as apps are generally installed there!
  • Toontown was once a good game, and its goodness needs to be spread around the world.
  • Personally, I think it would let the game reach a wider audience, and give it more attention, as there are a lot of mobile gamers nowadays.
  • Toontown on the Play Store would be a great experience. It would be a great idea to test out Toontown on a mobile device and see how smooth it runs.
  • It will widen the range and amount of players.
  • I am usually out and about and I always think about Toontown, it's a great game. I think it should be in the App Store.
  • It will attract more people, also since ODS has more content than TTO, people are bound to try out a new challenge!
  • It would allow us to play on the go! One request, please bring it to Apple and Google devices! :(
  • There haven't ever been any decent servers, and ODS really has a future, especially if it is put onto the Play Store.
  • It would attract new players to the genre.
  • You can play it and relax at the same time.
  • People would be able to play on the go if they like.
  • My kids and I played the official game when it came out in beta. We were one of the first people to play the beta. It is a game that has a great significance to us. We look back on it as a great family bonding experience. Since the original is no longer out, we are very pleased to find this game we can play together and recreate our experience. Being on an app, it makes playing together even easier because we have our phones with us all the time, and don't have to be home to play on a computer.
  • I have an Android phone and I think it would be a great idea, because you can play Toontown on the go!
  • Toontown on the go would be a really nice idea; considering Disney has Club Penguin Island, Toontown Operation Dessert Storm on Android would be a ton of fun if you can pull it off really well. I believe in you, Disyer!
  • It sounds like an awesome idea - I always dreamed of playing Toontown on my phone, and I hope you bring it to the mobile devices!
  • It would be a great way to bring people to Toontown, and also the project seems like it deserves a chance.
  • You wouldn't just have to wait until you get back home to do tasks, doodle training, and gag training. You could just play on the go in the car, cafe, and school (if you can get away with it).
  • Most players that do not have a computer would like it be on the Play Store.
  • More people would be able to find it a lot easier!
  • Some people don't have access to computers or they are not allowed to download games. I feel like it would be amazing and this is the next step for all of technology. I'm really happy that you guys are doing this and I'm so excited, being that Toontown is my favorite childhood game. Another reason why this is a great idea is because most people have Android devices - it could be a phone or an iPad, either way you would get more downloads on it when you open it to the public, because it's new and it's exciting. That's why I think it would be a brilliant idea to have Toontown on the Play Store.
  • I believe that having Toontown on the Play Store will be a benefit for many reasons. First of all, more people can play, we can have more players on at a time, people can play on the go, so there will be many players to play with at more time. A second reason would be because it would show other private servers and other developers that Toontown on mobile is possible, it would allow for such a revolutionary step in the Toontown community. Lastly, it would be very different, because I don't think you could have the same Toontown on mobile as you would on a compter, so it would be very interesting to see what you guys do with the idea of Toontown on mobile. Also, I think if you do add Toontown on mobile, it should also support iOS users, because many people do not have Android devices.
  • When it is open to the public, it will be easy to access by a lot of people, and it might even bring in some new people to Toontown.
  • It would be very interesting.
  • It would be eternal to play this game anywhere you want and take it to go.

  • It would be easier to access on the Play Store, and a massive amount of players may be acquired through the medium.
  • It would be more accessible to new players.
  • It will open Toontown to a whole new audience of mobile players, however we must be careful of how we distribute it, we dont want Disney shutting it down!
  • It would be able to open up Toontown to a wider audience. There's always people who always wanted to play Toontown but are unable to due to the fact that they don't own a computer.
  • We have never seen anything like this before. I would love to be able to play on the go because then I don't have to worry about not being able to take my computer with me.
  • Easy advertising and access to updates.
  • Because I have a Samsung phone, and I want to play. I think that's a simple concept, really.
  • I like to be able to play on the go, and getting the app from Google Play would be safer.
  • It would be great if we could have Toontown anywhere we go!
  • I'd love to be able to snatch out my phone and play Toontown! It's a game I grew up on, and would enjoy it immensely to be able to login anywhere

  • It allows me to play on the go.
  • It would let more people know about the game.
  • It will bring more people to the game :) and being the first TT server to release on mobile will increase players.
  • It would be a great way to have more players, since there are more ways to play!
  • It could open the game up to a wider community than the community being relatively small. However, I think it is important for all Disney references to be removed before you do so.
  • I don't have much time on my computer, as other people in my family use it too, so when I can't access it, I can just go on my phone to play.
  • It would bring the game to many new players.
  • It would have more people that could play whereever they want and play for a longer time in bed or sitting on the toilet.
  • It can help people who can't play it on PC - they can play it on mobile.
  • It would bring the game to people who don't have PCs.
  • It would help get the word out and it would be a stable place to download the game.
  • As long as it is free and bugs are worked out, putting it on the Play Store will help it reach more people wanting to play it, especially those who know about it but are uncomfortable downloading it from the site.
  • Plenty of online MMORPGs are exploring the potential of the mobile market and other supporting platforms. Take Roblox for example, a massive MMO of creativity. They've expanded to iOS, Android, and XBOX One. With a game as simple as Toontown, the very same could be accomplished.
  • I'd love to be able to play the game away from PC. Gives it a new sense of mobility and accessibility for new generations of toons.
  • The game was important to so many kids in the 00's and it would be great to play it on our smartphones, since we spend most of our time on them.
  • It'd give more access to the game, and could reach a larger and different demographic than the computer gamers. It'd be easier for those on the go and those who may not have access to a computer or Internet at all times. Because of those reasons I'd think it'd be great to have it as an app, and on the Play Store.
  • It would make the game accessible to a wider range of players.
  • You can play the game when you can't access a computer.
  • Many people who can't stay at home all day can have a opportunity to play wherever they want!
  • It means that more people would be able to play and experience Toontown and its glory.
  • It's great to be able to play Toontown on the go.
  • Toontown is a great family game. I've always wanted to be able to take on the go. I love that this server is attempting new ideas like that!
  • I enjoy Toontown but I am away from my home a lot. On the go this would have more of a purpose for me.
  • It would make the game more acessable - However, I also worry the servers could get overloaded, so perhaps slower implementation is needed.
  • That can abrange casual players, that don't have so much time to play on PC and improve experience.
  • More people can know it's open on the phone. Multiple people, like me are barely home and could totally use an app for when we're out and about.
  • Everyone can enjoy this great game.
  • It helps people who don't have a computer to play it.
  • Access to everyone. Free download. Downloadable to your device from your device or other computers.
  • It would be great to be able to play and be mobile.
  • It would allow more people to play more regularly.
  • This would make it much easier to access for me - sometimes it's hard for me to get to my computer, and my easily accessible laptop is slower than my Mac. Having Toontown on my phone would be wonderful!
  • Toontown has never been a demanding game and mostly everything from a Samsung Galaxy S1 to a OnePlus 3T can run it, so why not let them run it?
  • Toontown is a great game that doesn't involve too many actions that would make it too difficult to play on mobile. It would be a fun game to play on roadtrips or while waiting in line without needing a computer! This game has brought joy to many people throughout its years, and bringing it to mobile will just further that joy!
  • Other people could play it!
  • Even when I am away from home I would be able to play Toontown on my mobile device!
  • Toontown should be available to everyone on every platform.
  • I feel as if it would be an interesting way to play Toontown.
  • Many successful games have flexibility on multiple platforms, and these days, more people have easier access to a smartphone than a PC.
  • The Play Store can help bring Toontown to a whole new generation of players and toons, while still being something different for returning players. More exposure for this great game will draw in a larger, toonier, and amazing community which is half of the whole fun on Toontown. Because what is Toontown without the toons?
  • It would allow people to play everywhere they go.
  • It would allow Toons to play their beloved game on the go.
  • It might bring back the spark the Toontown community once had a long time ago.
  • More people can play and know this is here and free.
  • It would give many people an opportunity to enjoy Toontown Rewritten and the game would build popularity.
  • Toontown is super fun and I think everyone should get a chance to play, no matter where they're at.
  • Toontown is a fairly casual game, a lot can be done within 10-30 minutes intervals and therefore it's fit for mobile usage.
  • The new generation can experience this amazing MMORPG that is in our lifes since 2005.
  • It would bring a whole new world to Towntown players. Most people my age don't play anymore because the game hasn't gone mobile. I think it would be a great idea to bring it to the Play Store!!
  • More exposure, but that also means more complaints from people who don't realize how it all works.
  • Toontown is my and many other people's childhoods, and with the market moving to mobile devices, I want the children in my life to get the opportunity to experience Toontown like when I and many others did.
  • More people would download the app if it were on the Play Store.
  • Toontown is awesome. You should be able to play it everywhere.
  • I want this game to be more popular.

  • If somebody doesn't have a phone, they can just play on their phone.
  • It would give Toontown some exposure once again.
  • I can play Toontown when going to field trips anytime!
  • It would make the game more accessible to people who have never played it before.
  • I am a Toontown player, and I like the game. I think putting the game on the Play Stor would be a great idea because all my friends with Android devices can play without computers!!!
  • It would open up many doors to people that want Toontown on phones, such as on my tablet. It would also bridge the gap of kids these days, people texting, sexting, all that bad stuff. I plan to have my sister play if you could also put it on iPhone.
  • It would allow the project to reach more people, and be easier to download!
  • More players to play with.
  • I love this game and I use my cell phone more than my computer.
  • I am a very mobile person and I struggle to sit down with my laptop and play
  • Toontown currently isn't on that market yet. You should also put it on iTunes too to be honest.
  • Easy access. Feels secure.
  • I've loved this game for over 10 years and everyone should know it - it will be very popular!
  • People can search for it, it can be recommend to other people, widening the base for this project.
  • It would be easier for some people to find it and I think easier to keep track of mobile players.
  • Yes, as not many people have computers, so you can have it on your phone or tablet - it will be great.
  • It would make it available for downloading to a wider audience and would open up the possibility of the game being revived again (not in the way people thought it would be though).
  • Play anytime anywhere.
  • It gives other Toons a chance to experience it, even if they dont have a PC to play Toontown.
  • I think this would be a great way to attract new players to the game, and to raise awareness of older players of Toontown Online who may not have the time to play on their PC much.
  • It's a good game, having it on mobile would hopefully revive the fan base.
  • We can automatically update the game.
  • Toontown is a very fun game in my opinion, and it's likely I would play it away from my laptop! Although this could distract some students from school, homework, etc.. I do think it's a very good idea!
  • It would bring new players to the game and would make it easier for current players to install the game on their Android devices. If it's possible to do it, go for it!
  • It allows people to play Toontown without having to be on their computer, with the convenience of their phone or tablet. Think about the ROBLOX app.
  • I would finally be able to play Toontown even when I am not at home.
  • It's a great game for families and kids of all ages and it would be cool to see this make it to the Google Play Store!
  • More kids would get involved with the game than the people that played it years ago, since everyone has tablets.
  • I enjoy playing on my laptop, so being able to play on the go would be awesome.
  • It would be a great way for more people to find out about the game, especially since the mobile gaming industry is quite huge at the moment!
  • First off, Toontown is a great game. However, not many people know about Toontown. I think putting Toontown on the Play Store will allow Toontown to get more fame and become better known. Toontown could really use the extra fame currently as most youtubers for the game are moving on and since Disney closed Toontown Online, many people have refused to download the newer Toontown; in which case they don't know what new had been added. The only problem with putting it on the Play Store I can think of is Disney. Disney stopped not only Toontown but Club Penguin as well to work on mobile games, and if they figure out Toontown is on a mobile device, they might want to try and take the name back and make something like the new mobile Club Penguin game. However, Disney stopped development on Toontown for more reasons then just mobile games, so it probably shouldn't be too big of an issue with them.
  • I am not a gamer, but Toontown and now TTR have both drawn me in to play. I am not always new my computer and would love the ability to play on my Android. If the game were available at the App Store I am sure many others would feel the same.
  • Most of us would enjoy playing it on the phone. I always wanted to.
  • You wouldn't need a computer to play a game that you love.
  • It's thes best MMO game of all time.
  • When I am in the car, I can still play Toontown.
  • It would give players more access to their favorite game.
  • I would love to see my favorite game on the phone. plus it will be easy to play on the go.
  • This game is so great, it needs to be on the Play Store for free!
  • It would be great to be able to play it everywhere.
  • This game was around for a quite a while now, so I think it should be the perfect time to have it on Android :D
  • That way, everybody can play this masterpiece and have fun and have more players in the games to help everyone out.
  • I think that many people would play the game. I know that my daughter and I will definitely play this game. I love that you are now adding it to Android. Toontown games have been a stress reliever for me for years.
  • Would be a great break on a busy day to get in a little Toontown while on the go!
  • I would love to play Toontown on the go, whereever and whenever I want.
  • We can't bring our computers everyday outside, so it's great to have it on our phones.
  • People who can't afford computers could play on their phone without having to buy a PC or laptop.
  • There has never been a Toontown mobile game before.
  • Toontown on the go would be great, because we could play on our phones anytime anywhere, and it would be a nice experience for those who don't have a computer.
  • We can play Toontown on the go.
  • More people will be able to learn and play Toontown. Remove any ads and anything that can make money to avoid copyright, and Toontown may blow up as a game!
  • Love Toontown! So do my kids! Want to play together but we only have 1 PC, we can't go everywhere with our PC but we can with our phones! PLEASE MAKE THIS WORK!
  • More people will be able to download this fantastic game! And Toontown will be more good if you could travel with it.
  • Toontown is amazing and has deserved to be mobile for the last 15 years.
  • It would bring more attention to the game if people could find it on the Play Store.
  • This would be more accessible. (Translated from French)
  • Some people don't have computers and it's great.
  • 3D has never been done on smartphones.
  • Everyone I know would like to be able to play the game on their phones or tablets.
  • It would bring the game to new generation of kids who only know about games on mobile devices and tablets and rarely play games on computers nowadays. This way, we can bring the nostalgia and fun to them as well.
  • It will bring more players to the game due to the fact that most people these days have a mobile product (phone).
  • New people can play Toontown.
  • You would have more people to test the game.
  • It would allow millions of other players who are limited to mobile to play Toontown.
  • Bring the game to more people to enjoy!
  • Would be interesting to have a proper full cross platform form of Toontown.
  • It lets me play anywhere, and more often.
  • This will attract a larger crowd, knowing the game will now be mobile or on a large flat screen TV. It will create a larger community. And with there now being such graphically intense games, putting Toontown on a phone really just fits.
  • Yes, I would like to see how the game works for mobile.
  • People don't have laptops, and you will get more players.
  • It would make it more accessible for people who can't play Toontown on a computer. They could just pull out their phone and be able to play Toontown. Since it would be a free game, many people would be able to play it.
  • Advancement of technology should make it easy to run Toontown on mobile.
  • It'll be great to put a F2P game on Android.
  • I can play Toontown outside of home without having to bring a laptop.
  • When I'm on the road, or only have my tablet, I'd love to play Toontown Operation Dessert Storm.
  • Taking the game's development to the next step is a great idea, putting this Toontown on mobile and being able to play it wherever (with Wi-Fi of course) is outstanding. This also concludes that many new and young players will discover Toontown and discover new things.
  • I'll play it on my way to school.
  • I've always wanted to have it as an app, I think it'd be a super fun and different experience.
  • This would be a really good game for the family to enjoy, and a relief for parents because this is a family friendly as well as welcoming MMO game that is rare to find in the mobile market and I hope that this game will make way for more games of this genre to come!
  • Because I own a tablet which uses the Play Store, think about the possibilites!!!
  • Toontown is a game that is lightweight and well suited for mobile.
  • I loved Toontown ever since I was a kid!
  • It allows for exposure of the game to both new players, as well as being more accessible on-the-go to current players.
  • Easier access for more people would be nice!
  • This has always been a great game - a mobile game makes it more accessible.
  • It makes it easier to access and also is a great game for children and people who like to reminisce the old days.
  • Because I love Toontown. I've been playing it since the release, and actually I'm a 22 year old woman
  • It would be easier to find and play for all of us who grew up loving it.
  • It would be mobile for long drives or activities.
  • It would be really cool to be able to play Toontown anywhere - kind of like the Nintendo Switch!
  • I love video games, so I'm just saying that it would be easier if you just went to the Play Store.
  • I'm not always able to be on my computer, making it hard to arrange a time to play Toontown. If the game were to come out on Android, I would be able to play the game wherever I wanted to.
  • I love Toontown and I love alpha and beta testing!
  • I think it's amazing! It can now be easier to play now that there are more available platforms to play the game on. Phones are used a lot and some people prefer gaming on a phone so having Toontown available on mobile will draw more users.
  • I think so because I am a game coder and I would like to test it so that it will be released onto Apple soon as well.
  • Well, it would be easier to find. I originally looked on the Play Store for this, but had to go to the website. It would be way easier if it was just on the store. Also, it could rope in some people who mainly use their phones to play games, which adds to the population of the game, which can help in the long run since Toontown really needs more players.
  • I love this game, it's nostalgic, and it would be amazing to see a mobile version of this game as I've wanted this since I was a child.
  • It would be pretty awesome to play Toontown on the go. I also think it's a great opportunity to get Toontown more exposure so that the playbase would grow.
  • Because ODS is a great game.
  • It would be fun for people that only have mobile devices!
  • It would be available for more people.
  • I have always been an Android nerd since I was young. Modding, rooting, you name it. I also have a keen eye for detail, which helps me succeed.
  • Because then you don't need to play on a computer, especially if you don't have one, because a lot of my friends don't!
  • It would provide a lot more interest and publicity from the younger demographic to Operation Dessert Storm.
  • This is comparable to Altis' Greenlight situation. In fact, it's no different.
  • Private servers may violate the rules of the Play Store, however that does not mean it may not be distributed through other means.
  • I'm afraid of this game getting a C&D to be honest. I hope you know what you're doing.
  • I'm pretty sure your server would explode.
  • I believe Google's Play Store policy prohibits apps that infringe upon intellectual property of other companies. Even if you take all of Disney's licensed characters and likeness (like the Mickey symbol) out of the game, all game assets are still technically the property of Disney. Though Disney has let private servers slide through, attempting to put it on the Play Store might not fly well with Google, and may give private servers avoidable negative attention.
  • Putting Toontown on any online store, even if it's free, sounds super sketchy. How is this any different from the TTPA Steam Greenlight fiasco?
  • I don't think it would be a good idea to put ODS onto the Play Store, since it would be putting Toontown under your name when really it's not yours.
  • I don't think it'd be a good idea, due to the same reasons of why TTPA on Steam wasn't a good idea.
  • ODS on Play Store is the same situation as PA on Steam. Just because it's on mobile doesn't mean it doesn't violate copyright law.
  • It'd probably be a bad idea, but who knows - it could be interesting.
  • Although I believe this has potential, it seems like a risky idea to put a game that isnt 100% stable on mobiles, considering people are already having problems on computers, which means that it would be a really buggy experience, considering in my opinion it should be fully working well on the computer first.
  • I feel Disney might get the wrong idea.
  • People would have the capability to play this game without problems.
  • This will bring in legal issues - Disney would target Toontown private servers. The outrage was already here for Project Altis wanting to go to Steam Greenlight so this wouldn't be any different really.
  • This may lead to Disney taking action to take down the game as well as other servers, killing the community,
  • Okay. Don't do PlaySstore. I just needed to say that because legal issues could be a major, MAJOR problem. Disney is hardcore. Trust me. Release the APK, that alone should be fine.
  • I don't think this is a good idea because of the similar situation with Altis trying to put their game on Steam Greenlight. Please, don't do it.
  • Let's wait with it for now, until all major bugs and glitches are fixed, and all things added.
  • Disney might send a DMCA notice once it is more publicly advertised.
  • It's always a bad idea to put it on the Play Store when it is in beta. Yes, you're going to get a lot of new people that played or have heard of Toontown, but you're also going to get people that won't tolerate the bugs. The Google Play platform is usually more for the side of completed games, and if people will complain about games that are completed, they will probably give your game bad reviews, even if it isn't a "bad game. "
  • It would not be a good idea because Disney trademarked Toontown and you'd get in trouble with the law. This is the thing that nobody seems to understand these days.
  • Personally, I don't think that it would be a smart move to put Toontown on the Play Store, simply because of the obvious probability of legal trouble occurring. Even if Operation: Dessert Storm is completely free, if Disney notices people putting intellectual property up on the Play Store, it would basically be a one-way ticket to a legal Hell, so to speak.
  • Disney may be against it. I don't think this game needs an overload of attention. At least not until every bug is worked out of it and until it can handle many players.
